Salon Policy

At Kieran James Hairdressing, we are dedicated to providing a premium, professional experience for every client who visits our salon. To ensure fairness, safety, and the highest standards of service, we kindly ask that you take a moment to review our policies below.

Appointments & Cancellations

Your appointment time is reserved especially for you. If you need to cancel or reschedule, we respectfully request a minimum of 24 hours’ notice.

Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice, or missed appointments, may incur a fee. This policy allows us to offer availability to other clients and protects the time of our dedicated team.

New Client Deposit

To secure most appointments, we require a 50% deposit for new clients at the time of booking.

This deposit is fully redeemable against your service on the day of your appointment. With 24 hours’ notice, your deposit can be transferred to a new appointment time. Deposits may be forfeited in the case of late cancellations or no-shows.

Colour Services & Patch Testing

For your comfort and safety, a patch test is required at least 48 hours prior to any colour service if:

  • You are new to colour with us, or

  • You have not had a colour service in the salon within the past 6 months.

Without an up-to-date patch test, we will unfortunately be unable to proceed with your colour appointment. This is in line with best professional practice and ensures your wellbeing at all times.

Hair Extensions

To maintain the quality and integrity of your natural hair, we are only able to carry out extension services, maintenance, Styling, Cutting or removals on extensions originally fitted by our team.

This allows us to guarantee the highest standard of finish and protect your hair’s health.

Professional Standards

We pride ourselves on creating a welcoming and respectful salon environment. While we strive to accommodate every client, we reserve the right to decline a service where it may compromise hair condition, professional standards, or the comfort of our team and clients.
